I couldn't help but notice how so far, new arrivals have a tendency to come here on Sundays. I wonder if anyone who's been here longer than me can tell me if this has always been the case? Though a seemingly small detail, it's probably significant in some manner. And after all, it's the small details that bear watching.

It was the same when I arrived two months and a half ago. But I fear I do not know if our predecessors were kept on the same schedule.

It's been this way ever since I started noticing the trend, and I've been here... shit, it's gotta be five months and counting now...

Anyway... yeah. Happens every week.

[Well, look who's recovered from their hangover! He was just taking a walk around the city, but then he spots one of the pople who came to see him when he was sick. Holding his Seel in his arms, Yao walks over to Cooper.]

Nihao, Dale!

Seel! [Li also greets him.]

Yao! It's good to see you out of bed. I trust you're doing alright now?

_{[Oh, look, the derp-girl. He remembers you.]}

Five months? ... that's quite some time. I can't believe I've been here for three weaks already - I can hardly begin to approximate the idea of almost half a year.
_{[He falls silent for a second, pondering this.]}

Do you happen to know when the first outsider arrived here? When this all started?

Thank you. I'm trying to gather as much as I can about this place and what is happening here - any information is helpful.

It's... passed by pretty quickly. It doesn't feel like half a year.

I haven't actually asked... I don't think I was part of the first wave, there were people here who'd gotten there before me when I showed up... but I'm not sure how many.

In that case, you might want to know that in both September and October, the weather acted strangely for a few days. In October, it led to these weird monsters and all the pixels. In September, a few days of fog came with Ghost Pokémon-induced hallucinations. I have also heard of a flood during the summer.

Yes, I was here during the ... "weird monsters and all the pixels", as you put it. It was highly unsettling. The other two instances are new to me though. I take it you were there during the hallucinations? Can you tell me more about that?

I was. The ghosts... made us see our worst nightmares, and made us believe they were real. A lot of people panicked, and a few even attacked other people. One of my friends was not affected, or at least not affected enough to lose track of reality, but those lucky ones were a minority.

It started on a... Thursday? Friday? And it ended the next Monday. We caught many of the ghosts responsible, but I have not heard of any of them causing that sort of hallucinations since then.

Ah, yes. I have noticed that new arrivals tend to arrive upon Sundays. Throughout my four months here, it seems to be the case. Why, I am not too sure.

I have seen Ghost types play pranks before, but never on such a scale and not with hallucinations. Perhaps the fog strengthened their powers.

An interesting idea. I suppose we'll see in due time if there is in fact a connection between these fantastic creatures and prolonged weather conditions.

_{[The smile grows.]} So, two months and counting? How are you finding this place so far? I fear I'm starting to get attached, myself, and I've only been here for three weeks.

I find myself quite liking it. All these Pokémon are fascinating, and I am rather fond of my team. This land also allowed me to meet friends I had not seen in seventeen years once again. If it were not for the absence of my family, this would be a perfect vacation.

I know exactly what you mean. In all honesty, I expect to feel quite torn about leaving once that day come, though I'm extremely curious as to when that will be. I suspect it won't be by our hands, either. Still, that doesn't make me want to investigate the truth and cause of this any less.

People do seem to disappear without warning, sometimes. And I have been looking for a library, to see if this world has any legends about strangers appearing out of nowhere, but I have not yet found any. The locals are not the best source of information.

Hm, yes, I've recently learnt that that might occur.
_{[He looks quite delighted at that idea, it doesn't matter if you found a library or not.]} A library, of course! A great idea, my friend. I'm going to see if I can find one as well. Or museums, for that matter - anything that might shed some light on why we're here. Because you're right, the locals certainly aren't helping.

There might be libraries or museums in Goldenrod; I've heard that the city is the biggest in Johto. But we already have proof that there exists some form of spirituality and tradition, along with legends. The monks of Sprout Tower might not be very helpful, but they certainly are present and worship something.

Perhaps I should stop putting off leaving this city, then, seeing as Goldenrod would be my next destination.
_{[He nods]} Absolutely. I must say, that tower didn't give me a very good first impression. It seems kind of ominous, don't you think?

It does, somewhat. And I know for a fact that those maonks are willing to get angry at lost little girls, so I doubt the company inside makes a visit worth it.
