024 - 4th wall
[AUDIO - and this isn't Cooper speaking. It's a strange, stilted voice you don't recognise.]
You are heere an thereis no place to g o ... BUT HOME!!
[After that, have some laughter. Again, not Cooper.]
[ACTION ANYWHERE: A lot of you know Cooper, but none of you know exactly how bizarre his life actually is. If you run into him today - anywhere, because any one step in a 4th wall is a treacherous one - you might find him accompanied by a Little Man, clad entirely in red, with secretive eyes. He carries a ring. Coop looks ... troubled.]
[You might find yourself in a Red Room, actually. With the Little Man, the Ring, and perhaps other things. Cooper may or may not be there.]
[Or that might not happen at all. In which case just feel free to bother Coop with having your true form/powers back/your very presence. Nevermind the Little Man, he has no business with you.]

YOOORK :D
[But someone else is. York will find himself in a big, red room, drapes on all sides, and two chairs near the center. Big, sturdy, dark things. And in one of them sits a little man in a red suit and he looks at York as though he knows something he doesn't.]
[There is a slight movement in the curtains, but otherwise, everything is still. He can go up and to the right to part them and get out from the room - he knows it, even if he doesn't know just HOW he knows it.]
Hiii ouo
Instead, he looks inquisitively at the little man.]
no subject
[He doesn't say anything, but he will slowly start to rub his hands together. As he does, a shrill sound can be heard, seemingly coming from everywhere within the room.]
[And with it, a small smile.]
no subject
Then, he begins moving closer to the curtains.]
no subject
[Past the curtains there is a corridor - one that is near identical to the room he just left, with red curtains and the jagged-looking floor. There's a statue at the end of it, of Venus de Milo, and it's completely silent.]
[No shrill ringing out here.]
[These curtains can be parted, too. Up and to the right. ]
no subject
But there's nothing terribly remarkable about the statue, and he takes a peek at the next room.]
no subject
[It wasn't there before he looked.]
[The coffee in the cup is solid.]
no subject
He is not okay, he thinks as he lifts the cup of coffee, with coffee that cannot be drank.]
no subject
[Cooper enters the room. He doesn't seem surprised to see York there, nor to see the solid coffee. But when he looks at it, it's not solid anymore.]
[It's thick. Like syrup - or oil.]
no subject
no subject
Agent York.
[He pauses briefly, but his speech is his usual one.]
You're not supposed to be here, are you?
no subject
I almost thought the same of you, Agent Cooper. Now, I'm not so sure.
no subject
I would like to leave but something is keeping me.
[He says it slowly as if he's only just realising.]
no subject
Well, something tells me I won't be here for long.
no subject
[And then he turns and leaves through the drapes, up and to the right.]

Back to Venus he goes.]
no subject
[There is a white feather on the floor.]

no subject
[The Little Man snaps his fingers, and he's standing.]
... that icon
But oh hey maybe he'll pay attention to the little guy for now.]
he is a special little man
[The Little Man gives York a smile before he speaks in a halting, weird way.]
Theangles aare liars.
no subject
Anything else? York's listening.]
