024 - 4th wall
[AUDIO - and this isn't Cooper speaking. It's a strange, stilted voice you don't recognise.]
You are heere an thereis no place to g o ... BUT HOME!!
[After that, have some laughter. Again, not Cooper.]
[ACTION ANYWHERE: A lot of you know Cooper, but none of you know exactly how bizarre his life actually is. If you run into him today - anywhere, because any one step in a 4th wall is a treacherous one - you might find him accompanied by a Little Man, clad entirely in red, with secretive eyes. He carries a ring. Coop looks ... troubled.]
[You might find yourself in a Red Room, actually. With the Little Man, the Ring, and perhaps other things. Cooper may or may not be there.]
[Or that might not happen at all. In which case just feel free to bother Coop with having your true form/powers back/your very presence. Nevermind the Little Man, he has no business with you.]
(ooc: might do some tagging with
reddrapes! the Red Room is basically a place that screws with your mind, so if you want me to mess with your characters just let me know. COME AT ME BROS)

no worries! I could backtag forever. :)
[They could usually get along, but for whatever reason, she seems almost, what? Scared, sad? Different Audrey or not, he feels there's something completely amiss here.]
Audrey, what's troubling you?
no subject
(There's a lot of weight being carried by that 'you'. She moves closer to him, peering back once in awhile to look at the strange dog.)
no subject
[So it's with that he drops the topic, with a little hum of thought and lingering hesitation.]
I'm glad to see you too.
[He means that.]
no subject
I..I like your dog.
(She motions with her head to the strange canine and coquettishly tucks a strand of dark hair behind her ears. Taken or not, it's hard not to play the schoolgirl card around him.)
You look good, Agent Cooper. Really..really.
no subject
That's Tricia. By the looks of it she likes you too.
[Which seems true enough with the way she's still wagging her tail and keeping by Audrey's side, still. Animals do that, after all, with their way of sensing who could use a bit of comfort or company.]
[As for Cooper, his smile remains even if he also raises an eyebrow slightly. He can always pick up on her little act, appealing or not. But he'll always prefer to think of her as a friend and it's that kind of affection he has for her in the end.]
So do you, Audrey. How's life treating you?
no subject
(She repeats and looks down at the dog. There's a pat-pat-pat for the pup, right between the ears.)
It's a pleasure to meet you, Tricia.
(Cooper gets the bulk of her attention though. It's like seeing a ghost and maybe, she thinks, just maybe he is one. Her gaze travels to her feet at the question, head dipping to hide a blooming smile.)
Life has been interesting, Special Agent. Some of it has been terribly wonderful and some of it has just been, well, terrible. You seem happy. Are you happy, Agent Cooper?
