[Valentine's daaay! And guess who's really giddy for it?]

[Now, Coop's probably figured out that the cheer most people are feeling is enhanced somehow, even if he doesn't know the reason for it - but he chose to embrace it rather than fight it, because there is absolutely no reason to do the latter. He's content to feel genuinely happy, for once. Correction: he's enjoying the hell out of it.]

Good afternoon, Johto! Who else got eggs this morning?

[Is he excited about the prospect of getting another baby pokémon to his collection? Yep, actually. He's even more excited to see just what it'll hatch into.]

It seems the only holiday that hasn't treated us to these so far is Halloween, but given the nature of that particular celebration I can't say I find it all too surprising.

[And a bright smile at the feed.]

You know, I never much cared for Valentine's Day, but this is shaping up to be a damn fine day regardless of the significance of today's date.

[And Action for anyone in Goldenrod, where he'll be strolling about pretty much anywhere, back in his natural element (a suit) and looking pretty damn happy with pretty much everything for very little reason. He'll be quick to banter, praise and/or various displays of affection today, so have at him!]

I've never been better. And yourself? You seem very cheerful today, aru.

Do you know what type of Pokemon is in your egg yet?

Aren't we all? Probably the singing.

_{[He grins easily as he shakes his head though, because he has no clue. And that's the beauty of it.]}

Absolutely no idea. Could be a new one.

That and I have both my legs back!

Really? I don't know what mine is either. [He slips off his knapsack and carefully takes out his own egg from it.]

I can see that. Must be a relief.

_{[He has his own egg carefully nestled in a coat pocket, but he doesn't take it out to show yet. Instead he lights up at the sight of China's.]}

Oh, look at that.

It is. It was also a bit annoying, though, how long the healing process took. I knew it was harder for humans, but never to that extent.

[He cradles his own egg in his arms.] Well, I'm sure that whatever Pokemon is inside will be a lovely addition to the family.

Knowing the trend that follows you around with these things, I have no doubt.

I'm just so used to having a big family, aru. [He smiles bashfully.] Which I think is ironic since before I met my siblings I was so used to being alone.

I must admit that I'm sort of hoping the Pokemon in this egg will be one of those martial arts Pokemon.

_{[Coop claps a hand to his shoulder in a friendly gesture. He doesn't say it, but hey, he probably has a big family in Johto, doesn't he? Freeends.]

Oh, that's right. Should be a good fit, shouldn't it? Though I would have bet you'd get yet another dragon.

Dragons are always welcome and I would not mind if I did get another one, but I would like to have at least some variety, you know?

Speaking of, have you caught any of the Pokemon that have recently appeared?

In all honesty, I feel like I have enough pokémon to deal with as it is.

Should I assume that you did?

[He chuckles.] I'm used to large families, so it is kind of nice for me. It brings back memories. [Bittersweet memories most of the time.]

You'd be correct if you did. I've already caught two of them, actually. Would you like to see them?

_{[Which he says excitedly, grinning brightly.]}

Alright. [China is also grinning as he takes the Pokemon one at a time while he still cradles his egg in his other arm. First a female Lapras, then a Ralts.]

_{[And as both of these are new to him in person, he eyes them with bright eyes, looking delighted as he carefully extends a hand to the Lapras, leaning down a little to properly look at the Ralts.]}

Oh, man. Look at these two.

[The Lapras leans into the touch, making a happy shrill noise as she does. The Ralts stares back at Cooper.]

This is Jia Li. Her name means good and beautiful. [He motions a hand at the Lapras.] And this is Bái Fēng, which means white wind. [He gestures at the Ralts now.]

So how have you been, Cooper? Besides feeling happy from all the singing?

I think I am ready to finally leave Goldenrod too. I plan on leaving sometime next month, aru.

_{[He just smiles warmly, touches China's arm briefly. He's glad he can walk again, too.]}

Where to?

Azalea, not once have I been to that town despite how long I've been here. I still need the badge from there as well.

Then once I've done my errand, I can return to Goldenrod for the badge they have here. [And then he'd move on some more.]

Ah, Azalea. It's a great place, Yao. I have a feeling you'll like it.

I am looking forward to visiting the shrine within the forest. I read in a book about the Pokemon the shrine is dedicated to.
