Concluded getting lost in a cave to be an all around interesting but undesirable experience. Believe I could use some coffee and a good night's sleep.
Are there always trainers in this Union Cave? Those I've encountered never appeared to want to leave.
[Guess who made it to Azalea? Action if you feel like running into him on the streets or at the inn/center.]

It looks pleasant. At the moment I'm more interested in the condition of the inn.
[Meditation only cuts you so many hours of sleeping.]
You seem happy today.

Being in the city has lifted my spirits.
I finally picked up proper reading glasses today, so work was a bit easier without having to squint all the time to read recipes and labels.
I'm not surprised. [Cause you do strike him as a city-person.] You still work as a chef, then?

The restaurants here are all named very boring things, it seems; this one is the "Goldenrod City Restaurant". The guy in charge seems to have the exact same handwriting as the guy in Violet City, too, and even with my glasses, it's not much easier to read. I think they're related.

[Again with the tired smile, Coop does seem more relaxed as he also takes in the town, looking for a place to check in.]
I'll wait a couple weeks before running the handwriting past my boss. 'Don't want to offend before the first payday, you know.
I'm so excited to go shopping! I'm holding off until I get my first paycheck here before going, so I have a little nest egg just in case.

[Coop can tell - but this chattiness has a rather good effect on him, too.]
It sounds like you've got yourself covered. I take it there's a lot to see and do there?
Well, Goldenrod is nowhere as beautiful or grand as my Paris, but it's so good to be back in a real city that actually has nightlife and actual economy! I'm planning to explore around a bit more after I get a better footing on just find my way along the beaten path. I'll probably check out the bike shop tomorrow; I miss cycling.

[He picks up on that particular sentence, yes. He isn't sure what to feel about big cities anymore. Pondering this for a second, that's what he says.]
And I haven't seen a 'real city' for some time now. I've grown quite attached to these smaller towns.
<font size="1'>[France gives Cooper a curious look.]</font> Did your work bring you to smaller towns more often than larger ones?
[There's a certain kind of wistfulness in his way of saying this.]
What's the case about?
The murders of several girls. I don't believe it's a topic for a day like this.
Have you been able to locate the Inn or the Center yet?
I believe I have. I think I will allow myself the luxury of a nap. I'll talk to you later, France?
Definitely talk to you later! Never be a stranger with me: if you need a reason to call me, I'm always happy to help with your French...
I'll keep that in mind.
