I've been thinking about the significance of our first pokémon. I find it hard to believe the species given to us are random.

[A brief pause. He's been bothered by this ever since his arrival, actually.]

The initial reaction on meeting your first is important, whether it was fear, familiarity, anger, amusement, or the more unlikely indifference. Then there is of course the more pressing question: why were we given these particular ones?

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

[He's investigating again. Action for anyone in Azalea - he'll most likely be hanging around the pokémon center, working there and all.]

Not at all, but I had a group of twenty with me and we had an inkling of what we could do. I have lesser problems here, but I have no access to my usual ressources or powers, and thus my ability to act is limited.

I know what you mean. I had no powers to speak of but I still feel more exposed here, despite the typically friendly nature of this world.

The dream I had back then... seems rather more gentle then what had happened a month earlier.

I believe they're memories, not dreams.

I didn't fare too bad on either of these occasions, fortunately.

...I find it hard to believe that the self-replicating sandwiches could be a memory.

A lot of strange things went on during those three days.

There was also a thief that could steal everything except my shoes.

Apparently, no one in his world had invented a technique to steal shoes.

[And that wasn't even the strangest thing he remembered.]

I have vivid memories of several big birds and a forest. I guess that would be more believable as a real event.

That does sound more typical of this world. Were you near Ilex Forest at the time?

Not at the time, but I believe that's where I was during the missing days.

I also vaguely remember the forest, and spending a few minutes in Goldenrod... But I woke up on the path to Ecruteak, somehow.

Were where you before all that?

Violet. Having a picnic in Violet, possibly.

That's quite possible. I spent most of my time working and training, and the rest of it I spent with my comrades.

Well, there isn't much else to do with your time.

There is always exploring. But I completely forgot to visit those ruins, and I had not wish to set foot in Sprout Tower.

I didn't make it to the ruins either. As I believe I told you previously, you didn't miss much from not visiting the Tower.

It's a shame. The Bell Tower appears to be Johto's most interesting tower, yet it is the only one we cannot visit.

I don't believe I've heard of it before. Where is it?
