I've been thinking about the significance of our first pokémon. I find it hard to believe the species given to us are random.
[A brief pause. He's been bothered by this ever since his arrival, actually.]
The initial reaction on meeting your first is important, whether it was fear, familiarity, anger, amusement, or the more unlikely indifference. Then there is of course the more pressing question: why were we given these particular ones?
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
[He's investigating again. Action for anyone in Azalea - he'll most likely be hanging around the pokémon center, working there and all.]

Re: [video]
...My family-- the Sumeragi family-- is an old family that has worked as... We work with spirits. We help spirits pass on, ensure no harm comes to the living. I was chosen to be the head of the family, due to my powers.
...there's another family-- the Sakurazuka family. They're a clan of assassins. They use the same magic we do, but they don't do good things with it. We've been enemies for generations.
He was going to kill me, because I was the head. He accepted Hokuto in my stead... But he's killed thousands more since then, and he'll keep doing it if someone doesn't stop him.
[there's a lot more still to the story-- a lot of parts he's left out-- but that's the basic premise.]
You're certain murdering him is the only way of stopping it.
Re: [video]
I don't want you to take someone's life.
Re: [video]
[He's not sure what to make of this situation. He's strongly averse to any kind of murder, and he still believes Subaru has a choice here ... but he's not sure what would be the right one from the way the information is presented.]
Re: [video]
[if he told you the whole story, it'd really just make things that much worse. He's been avoiding it for good reasons. Mostly because you're perceptive enough that you might catch on to what he actually intends to do...]
He's here, isn't he?
Re: [video]
I can't do anything about it here... not without any of my powers. And I-- I couldn't ask my Pokemon to try to... attack someone. Not like that. [yes, he's more worried about his Pokemon than he is about himself. He makes a terrible murderer.]
No, you couldn't. [Frankly, he doesn't really think Subaru to be capable of murder, either - but he knows better than to judge killers. They can be anyone, anywhere.] I suppose the good news are that while he's here, he's got no powers either.
Re: [video]
Do-- do you know what happens if someone is killed here?
[He'll keep an eye out.]
No. Maybe they're not. Some people were dead before coming here, but are now very much alive.
Re: [video]
Seishirou. Seishirou Sakurazuka.
[He repeats it to himself once. He doesn't know a face to go with the name, but he figures in time, he just might. Not that that's a particularly encouraging thought.]
[buhh retroactively, past few comments pretty tightly locked.]
[he hesitates again, then finally--] Please be careful, if you meet him. I don't think he'll hurt anyone without a reason, but his reasons... [Subaru looks upset again, and that familiar look of being hurt and betrayed crosses his face.] He might hurt you. I don't-- I don't think many people should know about him, or more people might get hurt.
[ooc: oocly; Sei-mun would prefer the whole "is an assassin" not get out of the bag, since it hinders most of the fun in playing him, so she asks that Coop not tell anyone/you check with her first. which I should have done before I even named him, but l-lol, my fail. rp, how doz it work]
[..YEAH locked. sounds like a good idea.]
I understand - It's a delicate situation. In turn, I ask you not to do anything rash. I firmly believe there must be another solution to all this.
(ooc: absolutely! I don't think Coop would want to spread it anyway, because it's basically provoking a known killer - and I'll remember to check with her if I ever bring the matter up otherwise (: and ahah -pats- mistakes, we all do them~)
[So locked]
[ooc: yeah I was like doot doot doot- wait. shit. Sei kills people who know this. and I didn't ask. GDMIT SELF. so it was basically "NO ONE CAN KNOW" or a retcon and I hate doing retcons. brain fart on my part.]
[So locked]
I'm glad you did. I'll be careful.
(ooc: pff yeah I know what you mean. I don't think this is too bad but I guess it's more the principle of oh dammit.)
Re: [So locked]
[ooc: yeah, pretty much. I just know Seishirou isn't a fun person to play if everyone's like "MURDERERERERERER" but elsegame people already know and it isn't a secret and... yeah. don't want to make Seimun angry, she'd give me that *look*...]
[So locked]
I'd assume you're in more trouble than me.
(ooc: oh, looks. I can sympathise with the fate at the hands (?) of looks. I'll try to handle my ~omg information~ in ways that will not warrant looks. /o/)
[So locked]
[ooc: awesome, that is all we ask. \o/ (I attempted to tell you this on MSN, as I saw it was your contact of choice, but windows live only *just* decided to update properly and let me on. wtf, windows.)]
[So locked]
I will repeat: I'm glad you told me. I expect I'll hear from you later.
(ooc: haha, that's okay. I don't mind being contacted any other way, just that msn is where I'm most likely to spot it c:)
Re: [So locked]
[ooc: msn thwarts me forever, it's ridiculous. but I enjoyed this thread thoroughly even with my momentary brainfart, so thankyou! ♥ ]
[So locked]
(ooc: ah, that fails, it's usually kind to me. but right back at you <3!)
