016 [video] - backdated to monday

[And today, Violet City! Violet City on a damn fine morning, no less. But more importantly, an Eevee. A very playful one by the looks of it, as she's sort of darting around when Coop's trying to film her.]

I found this girl today. I'm fairly certain she belonged to Dee - call it a hunch. Dee's gone, but knowing her she'll probably show up around these parts again sooner rather than later.

[He sounds quite cheerful, saying this. Like most others he knows that he knows her, so her being gone doesn't trouble him all that much. Besides, it's a beautiful day, and he'll happily focus on that and the other little things:]

I'm back in Violet. [Audibly breathes the whole thing in as he films the area - a bit on the town outskirts, near the trees.] Man, I missed this town. Am quite looking forward to the hike back to Azalea, but that might be a while. I've been thinking I should try the gym now that I'm here so wish me luck on that one. Which reminds me -

[Camera pans and behold, a Wooper, looking like the most timid thing on Earth Johto.]

I believe this one needs more attention and care than I am able to give her at present. I don't feel it's fair to keep her in the computer for longer periods of time, so if anyone would like to take her in, I'd appreciate it. Bear in mind that she doesn't like fighting.

[...she's not claimed and she's a Wooper and who wants a Wooper anyway, but if anyone WOULD want her it'll be discussed ICly and stuff (and on a bit of a first-come first-serve basis). If no one wants her he's probably going to set her free which would be a-okay. :Db]

[Action for anyone in Violet! Feel free to run into him anywhere. /o/]
foolishwren: like what if you tried to sue obama and you just got a letter back saying "no" and he came to your house and did the worm (can you even sue the president)

[Video] I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL that's what happened with my last tag ffff

[She squints at him briefly-- something about that phrase was very, very eerie... Fire itself was something Heather had never quite been able to escape, either. From the ritual that burned down half of Alessa's neighborhood, to that fiery nothing place where she died alongside the god she'd been carrying for so long, to Heather's own struggle in Silent Hill seventeen years after that. Hell, she couldn't even escape it in Johto, it seemed, what with the fact that she'd been given a fire-breathing dog upon entry.]

[But she doesn't ask about it. Not just yet-- even though her curiosity is piqued like hell. There was definitely something odd about Cooper and she wanted to find out about it... later.]

Bob? Not really.

Hung out with a guy named Bob for awhile in high school who made out with a pillow while high once and many laughs were had. But unless by 'significant' you mean 'had a dumbass friend once', then no.
foolishwren: as i was, you shall be (Default)

[Video] YAAAAAY

[personal profile] foolishwren 2011-05-18 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[Yeah, Heather hadn't exactly been in a good crowd in high school. But in the end, they'd just been a bunch of stupid kids trying to shock their parents. Half of that old group of jerks had probably either wound up in jail for something or shaped up like she (sort of) had and gone about their lives. She didn't know, because she'd stopped all that crap once she'd realized how stupid it was... too late to make much of a difference, though.... less than a year later, her life had gotten ripped to shreds by an entirely DIFFERENT 'bad crowd'.]

[As for Cooper's BOB... god help any other supernatural entity that tried to slither into Heather's life at this point, because she's had it up to here with these motherfucking monsters in her motherfucking life eldritch abominations and she's got the blood on her hands to prove it. But then, to be fair, BOB was a very different sort of beast than the ones she was used to killing.]

For awhile, yeah.

But nothin' lasts forever.

[Even with Dahlia and Kaufmann gone, and the alliance between the cult and the hospital presumably destroyed with them, the cult had lived on...]

foolishwren: there is definitely something wrong with me (i wouldn't say i'm QUIRKY but)

[Well, physical or not, Heather DID find a way to kill a god. If nothing else, it's at least guaranteed that she'd put up a damn good fight before going down.]

[Her tone is sarcastically light.]

Well, my father was murdered, I was dragged into another delusional scheme to bring on the Apocalypse, I got a one-way ticket to the most literal form of Hell I can imagine without actually being greeted by a red dude with a pitchfork, and then I had to kill God to save the world.

You know. All in a day's work.

[Not peaceful in the slightest... violence of the murder aside, he'd died being told what was going to happen to his daughter in the following hours... what she was going to be used for.]

[As for the conversation at hand, Coop had stayed with her so far-- he was allowed to be a little weirded out without her holding it against him.]

As a friggin' bee.

[Silent Hill just sort of... did that to you. And he's pretty much got it right-- she'd thrown him a pretty big bone here, with the expectation that it would be enough for the time being, which was good for both of their sakes. She's pretty sure he doesn't need to hear "Oh yeah, and I also threw up a baby. With my mouth." tacked on to the end of that.]

Not exactly a huge fan of the whole thing, myself.

Anyway.

[She arches a brow at him, folding her arms.]

NOW do you see why I don't generally tell this stuff to people like you?

[... That little dig at his profession really wasn't necessary, Heather. :(]

That, and they'd think I was a raving lunatic.

[... No. No, you're really not.]

[She looks back up at him again, a bit of that defensiveness slowly fading from her expression.]

... I guess I didn't just make a huge mistake by running my mouth off, then...
foolishwren: YA GIRL... (HEY DEMONS IT'S ME...)

[She understands. Don't worry, Coop, your brain is safe for the moment. On the bright side, Heather looks a lot more relaxed than she was at the beginning of this conversation.]

Not even close.

[And that alone kinda... says a lot. But she's not gonna go into anything else right now.]

[Rapport is right! Not to mention, now that he knows... some things... she'll have incentive to be a little less jerky in their conversations. Everybody wins!]

... Yeah. I guess so.

... Hey. Thanks for believing me.
