I imagine quite a number of you are taking the gym challenge, but I'm curious as to what reason. Boredom? Some kind of obligation? That it just might lead to a way home?

I'm not sure. Either way I recently earned my second badge and expect to head back to Goldenrod in the near future. [A small pause here and his voice takes on a wistful little note.] Am quite excited to return to Ilex Forest. I believe it will be a beautiful sight and an invigorating hike.

[Click! Both badges are obviously mod-approved. And action for anyone in Azalea - if you find him, he's hanging from a tree by his knees, kid-style, browsing his pokégear while doing so and ... looking quite comfortable. Any gear-replies will be done in this fashion, too. Have fun with that!]

Well, kind of... yeah. [Kind of a grinning tone.] I met this girl that I'm traveling with now and-- ... never mind. Shawn showed up a few weeks ago, too. The way I figure it, since no one back home even knows we're missing there's not really any harm. This is like the vacation I've been waiting for for years. No dead bodies, no people claiming to be werewolves, no serial killers talking about using my skin for dolls, and NO bills.

You know that's right. So you've gotten pretty attached yourself, huh, Coop? [He heard the mirth, he's just going to grin it off. He doesn't embarrass that easily about women, so much as he is prone to sometimes get nervous.]

Latest addition is a Solrock that belonged to someone else here. No matter how much I admittedly like this place I don't think I'll ever come to terms with the fashion people disappear from it.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that... I can only imagine. I haven't known anyone that's left yet, but if something like that happened to Shawn or Abby I'd be pretty upset. [I will plead the 5th if Shawn asks.]

It does seem like kind of a jerk move to take people without warning. You'd think they'd at least let people leave a goodbye or something.

I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but you might want to steel yourself for it. I've been here long enough to see more people than I'd like to count disappear - not always friends of mine, but it's always disheartening when you stop seeing familiar faces on the Network.
