019 - audio

I imagine quite a number of you are taking the gym challenge, but I'm curious as to what reason. Boredom? Some kind of obligation? That it just might lead to a way home?

I'm not sure. Either way I recently earned my second badge and expect to head back to Goldenrod in the near future. [A small pause here and his voice takes on a wistful little note.] Am quite excited to return to Ilex Forest. I believe it will be a beautiful sight and an invigorating hike.

[Click! Both badges are obviously mod-approved. And action for anyone in Azalea - if you find him, he's hanging from a tree by his knees, kid-style, browsing his pokégear while doing so and ... looking quite comfortable. Any gear-replies will be done in this fashion, too. Have fun with that!]

[INDEED. Heather's pretty good at goading other people into bantering, serious line of work or not.]

Yeah, well, three fourths is still a LOT bigger than one fourth.

[A LITTLE. But like hell she'll admit it!]

[Grinning right back.]

I like to think I've got a pretty good perspective, overall.
foolishwren: there is definitely something wrong with me (i wouldn't say i'm QUIRKY but)

[YOU GET A LOT OF PERSPECTIVE WHEN YOU DIE AND COME BACK A FEW TIMES.]

I've been told I'm wise beyond my years. ... Of course, I've also been called a fool, so, y'know. Maybe they're connected.
foolishwren: and every scar I have makes me who I am. (We were put here on earth to feel joy)

Tibetan Buddhists, huh?

[Pretty much every trait Heather had period could be traced back to Silent Hill one way or another... it was her roots, after all.]

Do they recommend hanging upside-down, too?
foolishwren: what doesn't kill you gives you a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms and a really dark sense of humor (well you know what they say...)

But upside-down meditation should be like, twice as powerful or something, right?

[YEAH THAT'S RIGHT YOU'D BETTER AGREE-BUT-NOT-REALLY.]

I bet I could.

I was champion of the monkey bars when I was little. One time I hung upside-down for an hour.

[Video] fff that reminds me of how I used to play 'SPIES' all the time when I was little XD

[THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A TEENAGER AND AN FBI AGENT FROM TWO HORROR SERIES TALK ABOUT THINGS.]

... Pfft, really?

[She's now trying to picture Cooper snooping around as a little kid. It's surprisingly easy.]

I dunno, I can think of a LOT of sneaking scenarios where hanging upside-down could be handy.
foolishwren: like what if you tried to sue obama and you just got a letter back saying "no" and he came to your house and did the worm (can you even sue the president)

[Video] SERIOUSLY

[Heather recognizes an 'ASK ME TO ELABORATE' prompt when she sees one. Fortunately, she's curious. So she arches a brow.]

Big mystery?
foolishwren: YA GIRL... (HEY DEMONS IT'S ME...)

[Video] OH GOD COOPER SGJSDFG

[personal profile] foolishwren 2011-07-20 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[Heather listens, with limited interest at first-- and then her expression turns to one of incredulous amusement.]

[Between the morning routine and THIS, consider her impression of Cooper turned upside-down. No pun intended.]

Seriously?

[Imagining itty-bitty barely-a-teenager Cooper pulling shenanigans like that was so ridiculous in contrast to her impression of him as a police officer it was hilarious.]

[She's totally laughing.]
foolishwren: there is definitely something wrong with me (i wouldn't say i'm QUIRKY but)

[Video] SO BEAUTIFUL

[personal profile] foolishwren 2011-07-22 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[Admittedly, it's not too hard to make Heather laugh-- but seriously it is a funny story.]

That is KINDA amazing, I will not lie.
foolishwren: as i was, you shall be (EEEEEEEE)

You wrote to the head of the FBI about your sex-ed. eavesdropping escapades?

[COOPER YOU ARE JUST FULL OF SURPRISES.]

[HE REALLY WAS. Of course, had Heather been a girl at his school she might have thought differently, but as an anecdote from someone she'd thought was totally some stiff-upper-lip hardass with a badge? COMEDIC GOLD.]

Wow.

That is EPIC.
