I imagine quite a number of you are taking the gym challenge, but I'm curious as to what reason. Boredom? Some kind of obligation? That it just might lead to a way home?

I'm not sure. Either way I recently earned my second badge and expect to head back to Goldenrod in the near future. [A small pause here and his voice takes on a wistful little note.] Am quite excited to return to Ilex Forest. I believe it will be a beautiful sight and an invigorating hike.

[Click! Both badges are obviously mod-approved. And action for anyone in Azalea - if you find him, he's hanging from a tree by his knees, kid-style, browsing his pokégear while doing so and ... looking quite comfortable. Any gear-replies will be done in this fashion, too. Have fun with that!]

I have all the time in the world, Cooper. Or at least, more than most people do, aru.

[Okay, this needed a change of subject because things were starting to get depressing.]

So, you said you're heading back to Goldenrod?

Yep. Going to reacquaint myself with the big city, see if I can take on the gym ... all in all, I guess I'd like a change of scenery and a good hike to get there.

Well, hopefully we'll be in Goldenrod around the same time again, aru. England and I are heading there ourselves, except we're only stopping by since we hope to get our first badge back in Violet.

I know that last time we were in Goldenrod together our time was cut short since I had business to do in Mahogany, aru.

Let's hope time is on our side, then - I don't plan on staying in Goldenrod very long. It would be nice to see you again.

It would be nice to see you again too, Cooper! We never seem to have enough time to hang around in person, aru.

Maybe fate is against us. _{[He's not serious, obviously, and smiles easily before swinging himself to a sitting position. And stretches. Can't hang upside down for too long, really.]} And now I think would be a good time for a morning cup of joe.

[China blinks in surprise because he didn't notice that Cooper was hanging upside down this whole time.] Oh... you were sitting there this whole...

[He stops himself.]
