Does anyone else play Tetris?

_{[Guess who finally discovered the game apps on his 'gear! And guess who's been playing the games ever since! Spoiler: this guy. Cooper sounds pretty excited, actually, in that almost kid-like way that the ones who know him will probably recognise. He speaks fast and chipper.]}

Damn good game. Very engaging, very challenging. I've yet to get past the 100 lines mark, but I'd very much like to believe I'm getting there.

_{[Beat. You know, sometimes he really doesn't want to be here, but this games-in-the-gears-thing certainly picked him up.]}

Falling puzzle pieces _[:D] ... that Minesweeper game isn't half bad, either. And if I've got my facts right there are more games available for purchase at the PokéMarts. So, Network: any recommendations?

[Oooh hang on for a sec Crow he just needs to clear a line- but once that's done he flips his 'gear shut and looks up, smile and raised eyebrows in place.]

Yup! You asked for game recommendations, right? [Tooootally ignoring the fact it might not be what he had in mind.] That's the best one you can find in all universes! 'S not a 'Gear app, though.

[Why thank you! It's a pretty nice bench. That aside, his smile grows at the question.]

_{[Hey, if that's the case, it's bound to be better than the other Important Things he's been told by complete strangers (that may or may not be real).]

[He'll let his eyebrow climb juuust a touch higher, but there's a grin growing. Sounds like it might be good.]}

What kind of card game are we talking about?

[He takes out several cards and shows them to him.]

The goal of the game is to deplete your opponent's Life Points using the combination of Monsters' attacks and effects of Magic and Trap cards! Of course, there are many different cards and strategies, so each duelist's playing style and deck are unique and you need to be prepared for everything in a duel!

_{[He looks curious enough as he observes the cards, and gently moves the sleeping Eevee off his lap so he can uncross his legs and thus lean forward in interest more easily. Then he looks back up at Crow, and it miiight sound like he's missed the point here, but he did hear every word.]}

These all resemble birds.

[He doesn't question the attention he's given, even though he didn't expect him to focus on that particular detail. Crow retains his smile, though, as he gets down to explaining that.]

Yeah! That's 'cause I run a Black Feather deck -- it's an Archetype of Winged-Beast Monsters of DARK Attribute, and all of them resemble birds in one way or another.

[SEE HOW PROUD HE IS OF HIS BIRDIES? SEE? SEE? 8D]

_{[Oh man, so much of that doesn't really mean anything to him - but he's the kind of guy to keep it in mind for until he DOES understand it, so he just nods.]

[He should be aware of that, but alas, it feels so natural to him he doesn't even realize what he says might be confusing to someone who isn't a duelist...

But boy, he had no idea it shows THAT MUCH. So he just. Laughs sheepishly before answering.]

_{[Ahah well Coop's sort of ridiculous when it comes to noticing things - so it probably didn't show THAT MUCH, but the bit it did was enough for him.]

[That laugh prompts his smile to grow a little, and then he offers a handshake. Because now is clearly a good time for introductions.]}

Dale Cooper.

[Well if it got to the point of introductions and maybe the subject of Pokemon being brought up (which in Crow's case are ALL BIRDS), anyone would probably notice.

The duelist accepts the handshake enthusiastically, returning Coop's smile.]

Crow Hogan! Nice to meetcha.

_{[Yeah, probably. Not to mention his NAME is Crow, which has Cooper look a little amused.]}

[Remember kids, that's what you get for coming up with your own name when you're like 5 or something.

[He lets out an amused snort at that.]

[Again, it kind of surprises him, if only because he probably wouldn't bother with such details.]

Yeah! I come from Neo Domino City, to be precise, though I've heard it doesn't exist in other versions of Japan.

_{[Cooper's always had a thing for details. Not to mention he's with the law enforcement, so that trait of his has always been encouraged.]}

Given the amount of different worlds there seem to be that's hardly surprising.

[Figures! ... Although Crow probably wouldn't be half as friendly towards him as he is now if he knew about the law enforcement part.]

Heh, true! 'S almost as if every person I meet is from a different one.

That's probably the case. But it never quite ceases to be amazing, does it?

[A little of both, but who can blame him? You would dislike guys who continuously abuse their authority to harass people of your hometown, pretty much tortured your friend to death in jail, their boss tried to destroy the world, the higher-ups tried to kill you on multiple occasions and are about to blow up the place where you live. Anyone would.]

That's right! Hell, I never knew there were any other worlds before coming here.

_{[...yes. Wow. Anyone absolutely would. Seems like genuinely good cops - like Coop himself - are an increasingly rare breed.]}

I've talked to several people who were not only aware of other words, but travel between them on occasion. Isn't that something?

[ALAS. Though to be fair, Crow personally knows like... 3 good cops or so. Out of dozens he's dealt with.]

Pretty damn impressive. But I guess since time travels are possible, then so is this, huh?
