I'm growing attached to him. Though not as attached as he tends to be to me.

They are spiders. I'd imagine attachment in them is reasonably common.

A wise man once told me there's a path to every achievement, if you're patient enough to let it open to you. So you might say we're in a war of attrition, he and I.

Because he could make the most patient of men snap, but I'm not one to concede defeat. So we'll see what runs out first, my patience or his obstinance.

[Still, evenings like this are one of the few times she actually gets a little respite from babysitting Sherlock, and lingering over recollections is just going to make her frustrated again.]

Hence why I take my moments of peace where I can get them.

There was an attack broadcast on the network today. The people responsible tried very hard to make themselves anonymous.

[And she leaves it at that, mildly curious to see if he'll read between the lines to see what she's getting at.]

_{[Voice gaining a bit of an edge there, as he didn't like watching that broadcast in any way. But he does catch what she doesn't say.]}

Your culprit is a repeat offender. His Gear had more pictures than just the ones he broadcast today, but depicting the same style of attack. He's also apparently fond of poetry. The bad news is, while I was able to track down his Gear's ID number, there's no name attached to the ID; it's just a unique string of numbers and letters.

_{[Sitting up in a much more alert position now, he listens with great interest.]}

That still means identification should be possible.

_{[He's not the best at technological stuff, but as far as he's confirmed, it's the Gear's fingerprint. You just need to find the one with the same pattern. Though checking up on all the outsiders would be impractical (and not even accounting for people who might have gotten ahold of multiple gears), he senses that Carmen has something else up her sleeve, which is why he says it in part to prompt her to continue.]}

I don't have a name for you, but if that same ID posts somewhere with a name attached, I can match it. Zack is working through a sweeping program to capture and compare IDs as we speak.
